The results on my skin are amazing

I was diagnosed with subcutaneous lupus erythematosis 8 years ago. It's a autoimmune disease that mainly effects the skin and for me, it causes a rash and lesions on my face.

I was taking topical and oral steroids and other immunosuppressants for 4 years until I had a realisation that I wasn't getting to the root cause of the condition, I was just treating the problem.

I stopped taking all prescription medications and managed my symptoms with a better diet and natural supplements like vitamin D. I then discovered CBD oil and was using it alongside an improved diet. It was from a local health shop and had no THC in. I had less flare ups and felt great. It was still very difficult to improve the rash once it had started.

I heard of the Rick Simpson Oil through the Lads Talk Health community but initially had reservations due to it having the THC in and also the price. I was worried about stigma that comes with cannabis and didn't want people to think I was using it to feel high.

However after a skin flare up, I decided to give it a try and I am so glad I did. It was worth every penny. When the rash starts, it starts small then spreads and gets more red and inflamed over coming weeks. It can take weeks to go and I feel really self conscious and feel like I constantly have to explain to people what it is.

I started applying the Rick Simpson Oil to my skin, as well as taking it orally once a day, as soon as it started to flare. Within one week, it was pretty much gone. Photo 1 shows the initial flare, photo 2 shows how big it normally spreads. Photo 3 shows the results after one week on the oil.

I'd never share such unflattering photos of my face but the oil has made a huge difference to my health and happiness and I feel compelled to share my results so it can help others.
